Cancellation Policy

Cancellations, changes of dates or switching of rooms will invoke the cancellation policy. Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival date will receive a full refund. Any reservation over $600 will be charged a 10% cancellation fee. Cancellations made 30 days or less prior to arrival date will forfeit entire rental fee.

Check-in & Check-out Policies

Check-in is 4pm. Check-out is at or before 10am. No Re-Entry after check out.

Occupancy is restricted to number of occupants as described for rental property. Guest occupancy is limited to max occupancy for rental. No rentals will be made to any person under the age of 24 without being booked by a person who is at least 24 years old and will be present for check in and for the entire duration of the stay.

Weather Related Policies

Roads are routinely plowed, however, please remember that winter recreation is dependent on snowfall and you must be prepared with 4 wheel drive, snow tires or chains. Cancellations due to weather are not refundable.

Event Policies

Parties/Events are not permitted without prior written approval. Fees Apply. Events include, but are not limited to, birthday parties, bridal/baby showers, bachelor/bachelorette parties, new years eve parties, photoshoots, etc. Any guest(s) holding an event without prior written authorization will be charged additional fees up to $1500 and will be required to leave the premises immediately.

Parking Policy

Each property has its own designated parking areas. See each individual listing for specific parking areas. No parking on grass covered areas.

Trash Policy

Each property has its own designated trash disposal areas. Some have trash cans or dumpsters. All trash is to be bagged and properly disposed of at check out. Additional fees $5 per bag apply for excessive trash (more than 2 bags per day of reservation).

Pet Policy

Vacation Ohiopyle does allow pets to stay under the following conditions:

Pets must be registered in advance
$50 Non Refundable fee per pet per reservation
Limit 2 pets per reservation
Pets are not permitted on furniture
Pets are not permitted in showers or bath tubs
Pets are not permitted in swimming pools or hot tubs
Towels may not be used on pets
Clean up after your pet

Fees for pet rule violations $250-$500

Service Animal Policy

Service animals must be listed as additional guests on reservation. In the event of an emergency, we must have an accurate guest count.

Smoking Policy

No Smoking inside the building or within 25 feet of the building. Smoking inside of any kind (Tobacco, Marijuana, Vaping, Etc) will result in an automatic cleaning fee of $250.

Noise/Disturbance Policy

Quiet times are 11pm to 7am. Quiet times are strictly enforced. See individual properties for town noise ordinance. Any reported disturbance will result in immediate termination of reservation and all guests will be required to leave the premises. Fees up to $1000 for violation of noise policy.

Amenity Policies

Air Conditioning System Policy

In order for the A/C system to work the most efficiently all doors and windows should be kept closed at all times. The temperature should be set between 72-76 degrees which is comfortable. Setting the system below 72 could result in the system freezing up which means that the system will then have to be turned off until it defrosts making the inside temperature very uncomfortable. Calling out a technician to a frozen system will not get the Air Conditioning working any sooner and will result in a charge to the guest.

Heating System Policy

In order for the heating system to work the most efficiently all doors and windows should be kept closed at all times. The temperature should be set between 68-74 degrees which is comfortable. Setting the system higher than 74 degrees will cause the system to burn through unnecessary amounts of fuel and/or electric and will result in an additional charge to the guest.

Wood Burning Fireplace Policy

Use at your own risk. Damper must be open, prior to lighting a fire. Never leave fire unattended. Make sure fire is completely out before going to bed or leaving the house.

Firepit Policy

Use at your own risk. Never leave fire unattended. Make sure fire is completely out before going to bed or leaving the house. Firewood is provided at all properties. You will need fire starter and a lighter.

Swimming Pool Policy

Use at your own risk. No lifeguard on duty. Shower before entering pool. No running or diving. No animals in the pool or on the deck. No boisterous behavior. Children under the age of 14 are not permitted to use the pool without adult supervision. Never leave children unattended. Use the restroom, not the pool.

Hot Tub Policy

Use at your own risk. No lifeguard on duty. Shower before entering hot tub. No running or diving. No animals in the hot tub. No boisterous behavior. Children under the age of 14 are not permitted to use the hot tub without adult supervision. Never leave children unattended. Use the restroom, not the hot tub.

Playground Equipment Policy

Use at your own risk. Playground equipment designed for children ages 12 and younger. Adult supervision is recommended. Play area is reserved for reserved guests only. No rough play. Do not use when wet. Shoes are required while in the playground area. No pets allowed. No food or drink allowed in play area. Do not jump from or run on the sliding board. One person per swing.
